Is it safe to (track bar question)
I had to cut the RE bolt that came with the track bar and now have an identical bolt (grade 8 too) except in coarse thread.
I also got an aviation nut/lock nut. Can I put washers on either side of the track bar to help it sit straight and ensure that it doesn't move? |

Ok so the trac bar bolt on top that mounts to the frame is tapered to make sure u get a nice straight and flush fit..(I had to cut the original one to remove it) now I would go to the wardware store and find the corect nut I know all the hardware stores near me carry castle nuts.Just do your self a favor man use the correct hardware that way you dont have to do it twice

yeah i have all the right hardware i just went all over the island looking for the bolts but im all set now, i just want to know if I can put a washer under the nut on the upper mount when I put the track bar in.
PS. this is actually my second time doing it b/c i screwed up the first time...:pinch: |
