I recently discovered quiet a bit of rust behind the plastic trim piece behind the rear wheel on both sides .. I was wondering if there is any way to repair this .. Any replacement pieces .. Or bumpers that cover these pieces

 

I don't exactly know where your rust is but if it is where I think it is, JCR sells this Quarter panel armor http://www.jcroffroad.com/product/XJArmor/XJQL.html

 

Don't think there is really a good way to fix it. I took my bumperetts off a couple years ago and found a ton of rust/rot there. I did the ol' cut & fold....

Cut all this crap out:



Ended up with this:

 

Take the bumper covers off and see how much you really have.If you don't know to it

 

Cut it out and weld in new sheet metal if you want an oem look, or cut and fold it like above.

Not sure if you can get those pieces
