Default Rubicon wheels stock xj

I am planning on picking up four Tj rubicon wheels. They are the 16 5x4.5 lug pattern. I have a stock xj that I am planning to do a RC 3 inch lift to soon. My question is will I have issues fitting these wheels On currently? They are 245/75 I think. Try are smaller than a 31. My concern is rubbing due to width. Any help is thanked in advance. Will I need spacer? I have heard mixed reviews.

All depends how worn out your suspension is really, i put 32s on my stock xj last year and gad to do a little trimming, had it that way for about 2 months before i lifted it though.

The only rubbing issue you will encounter is when FULL turning you may/may not rub on lca, I have a family member running 31s with 1-2" lift rubbin. No other issues though - and you'll hardly notice the lca unless you make a lot of u turns lol

I have a 2000 classic that I just put some 16x8 rubicons with new 245/70-16's on. The suspension is 1" lower in back than front and all original. The rears rub slightly over dips or speed bumps but not bad. The fronts rub on stock flares when turning and hitting a bump but again not bad. I'm convinced with 245/75's I would rub considerably more to the point of not being comfortable without a lift or trimming.

One other thing. The stock wheel studs on the rear are uncomfortably short due to the MOABs being a bit thicker than ECO's. I only get 8 turns of the lug nuts which is about 1/2 of original. Extended thread lug nuts don't work, longer studs is the only option. The front OEM studs seem fine. About 3/4 + stud to lug contact.

Here's mine. 4 1/2" lift with 265/75/16 tires with no rub at all. I didn't have any issue with stud length, these fit as fine as the stockers I took off. No spacers either.

Well I got them put on yesterday. I left the Michelins which are the bigger, wider tires on. Looks good I'm trying to send an email of the pic so I can post it. The only spot it fubs is on the back where there is some damage. I will fix that this weekend. I would not put a lot of weight in the rear until I get a lift, just for comfort. I never knew that there were two different sets of the same wheels though. They 03-04 had a different wheel from the 05-06. The 05-06 have a concave lip the 03-04 have a convex curve at the lip. Hadly noticable. I have the 03-04 style.

Default 2013 jeep XJ with 2013 Rubicon wheels

i did mine with a 3" rc lift and spidertrax adapters. a little trim on the front fender and im sailing. BFG mud terrains that come on the 2013 jk rubicons are 250/75/R17 i think. adapters are a little expensive but it gets the job done right.
