ok, so normal tachs read rpm off the dist or coil, and well im not getting spark so i dont think the tach works, how can i see wut the rpms are of the engine when turning over? thx guys, oh and which wires do i hook up to for an aftermarket tach, thx

 

You always hook up to the (-) negative lead of the coil for a Tach.
