Rough Idle and Running rich PLEASE HELP
About a week ago my 99 xj started idling like **** and had no power when the gas pedal was mashed.
99 jeep cherokee k&n intake, banks muffler, super chips programmer
replaced iac, tps, cap and rotor, cleaned iac housing and disconnected o2 sensors and cat
no cel on at time as i was getting a tps circuit high and low but they have been cleared and ever came back
its also back firing up through the intake manifold
does run a little better and lean out some what when ect is disconnected
any help please would be greatly appreciated she was my daily driver until she started acting up. Im DYING to get her driving again and feel that low end torque which i love and i apologize in advance for the way this post is formatted im sure it will drive someone nuts

check your timing like asap. almost sounds like your timing is way off. recheck your super chip settings if you can. recheck your wires make sure there are at the right places. a valve could be stuck open. do a compression check. you can take you valve cover off turn it on see if any valves are stuck springs broken etc. recheck the gap on your plugs not a huge deal but would help. lets see what else. your cat could be plugged.

i checked the gap on plus they were all in spec. i can do a compression test hopefully tomorrow. i did take off the exhaust at the header and down pipe and let it run and it didnt run any better. I will look at my setting i only changed the tune never messed with timing using the programmer.
