Default rough idle

ok fellas ive got a 96 Cherokee, after doing tome repairs to it I have a hard start and a rough idle, I replaced the crank position sensor and now the throttle position sensor. thought the tps would solve my problem but no. when trying to crank it over I get a weird sound that I cant even begin to explain, when it does start it will run great for a sec then the rpm's fall and it starts to shutter and run like crap with a slight miss. any ideas?

could be as simple as plugs and wires .. When was the last time you gave it a tune up?

ive had it a yr, wheeled it once and the motor mounts bolts sheered off in the block, just got it up and running again, I had to put a new distributor in it after the block fell it broke the distributer shaft. it has msd ignition and wires, but im not sure how old they are. the throttle body has some build up in it as well.

Ok so my problem ended up being my cps. Had to magnetic pull at all! ( that's what I get for buying a cheap cps) oem and it runs like a champ again!
