Rough idle

I have a meter, do u know how to test the cps? also do u know what it is suppost to read at?

2. Place the ohmmeter across terminals B and C (A-B-C looking into connector left to right with the part with the notch in the middle on the right) Ohmmeter should be set to 1K-to-1OK scale.
3. The meter reading should be open (infinite resistance). Replace sensor if a low resistance is indicated. I don't remember what the reading should be
See there is other things to consider too. How many miles are on the engine, and what do YOU consider to be a roguht idle? Mine has 211,000 and will vary sitting at idle rpm from say 675-600. but its not bouncing back and forth at those numbers neither. it will go up a little then gradually go down then back up. Im not knocking around sitting idle. I can kinda feel the imperfections with the idle, but Ive never went below 600

That's correct hot idle rpm. If you drop the tps voltage .01 (or raise it .01 on renix tcu side) it should go up about 100 rpm. Again did this problem come up after the 703s were installed? Mine sounded like it had a hot cam. Revved fine though.
