" Rough Country or Rusty's lift ?"
I ordered a 6.5inch RC about 4 weeks ago, and have just been informed that there is a delay in supply, as there are no long travel shocks available. Even when the shocks arrive, there may still be a supply delay because of 'back orders'.
I only went with the RC brand due to cost, but I am now considering cancelling the order, and going with the Rusty's 6.5inch lift (bit more pricy tho).
Which is the 'better' kit?.........., should I wait for the RC kit to become available?............
Whadda ya think???.........

I have the 6.5" RC and honetly I gotta say it's the best lift i've ever had. it rides great on the road but it will go hardcore and be able to drive 2 hours home with no problems. I can flex it A LOT more then i thought I was going to be able to. I had a 3" on my old Toy Taco I had and it sucked pretty bad. But my 6.5" RC on my Cherokee has yet to disappoint me.

I would go with Rusty's for the 8.5" only because RC goes up to 6.5" but if RC had a 8.5" I would go with RC.

Ya I have longer shocks. The shocks that came with the 6.5"weren't long enough and didn't ride good.
RC let me return the shocks and gave me a credit toward shocks I wanted and it cost me $40 more dollars and not a prob since

Personal opinion here, but I prefer Rough County over Rustys. I and others in my local club have had lots of issues with Rustys over the years. While agree that I wish RC came with better shocks, I still think is a more complete kit.
Also, I like that the RC kit comes with shackles with the rear leafs. I think that the RC kit comes with 5.5in leafs and 1in shackles which I feel gives you better flex in the rear end.

soon as finish saving the last lil bit of the money i am buying the SA 6.5 from RC, i have heard great things about em and i am going to request it with out shocks and buy some better ones. Rusty's i have had nothing but issues with when i did my gears through them. Very poor CS and i vow to never use them again.

I got Rustys 4.5 spring pack...love it. Ride is nice. One of my shocks leaked but they replaced it. The hydro shocks that come with the lift are Rancho shocks with a Rustys sticker. I'm running BFG AT's so I have a really smooth ride. The lift was easy to do myself but I hope you have air tools and a braker bar.
