Default Rough country long arm trouble

I decided to install the cross member for the long arm upgrade I bought for my 96 2.5 ax5 cherokee and ran into some trouble. The crossmember has to mount to far back for the trany mount to even come close to mounting to it and the cross member hits the transfercase. Rough countrys website menitons the kit being incompatible with the 2.8 v6 , 2.l diesel engines and the peugeot transmissions but doesnt mention anything about the 2.5. Has anybody else tried installing this kit on a 2.5 because it doesnt look like it will work without allot of modification? And if nothing else how is rough countrys customer service?

Thanks for any and all help

My old man just got off the phone with rough country and they are sending me a set of lower control arms that are 3.5 in shorter which they claim will work with the setup I have allowing me to shift the crossmember forward so the transmission will bolt to it. They also want some pictures of the setup so they can see if theres any problem with the skid plate mounting with this setup. Very happy with the customer service. They are UPSing me there prototype set of control arms to try and say they are working on a version of the kit to work with the 2.5 and the 2.8.
