Well I don't actually have the 4.5 kit (yet) but I do have their 3in, and from what i've heard and experienced rough country suspensions tend to be a bit on the stiffer/rougher side, but mine isnt too bad and im sure 4.5 wont be any worse. I'd definately go rough country unless money is no object, they are loads better for the price.

I love my RC 4.5 kit. I went with the add a leafs because money was tight at the time. It rides pretty good on the street, and it did pretty good off road, I will also by better shocks in the future. I put discos on mine and now my Cherokee is awesome off road. I will eventually upgrade my rear leafs to the Rubicon express 4.5 springs when money is not so tight, but for the price you cant go wrong with a RC kit. BTW call them instead of ordering on line they will give you a better deal.

My friend & I are in the middle of installing the 4.5" RC lift on his '01 XJ but we also are adding 2" pucks & revolver shackles & the rear sets at 8" above stock!!! Finishing the front tomorrow! Either way u go the RE or RC full leaf packs are both way stiff at first the key to softening them up is FLEX, FLEX, & more FLEX just strech them out as much as possable!
