RC just released thier new heim Joints on their control arms. I like them i saw them up front and they look beefy.
I ve seen some jeeps with thier stuff..
for the price its not bad but if you want quality.. stick with a brand you can trust.. like Rubicon Express.

A lot of people on this Forum seem to really like their stuff. However, from speaking to some local offroad shops I havent really heard anything positive. But, they seem to push other products instead and may have other motives in mind.

If you are looking at simple kits with coils, leafs, control arms, etc. I dont think you can really go wrong with anyones kits. Some may ride differently than others but its fairly simple parts and probably hard to screw up.

This is the definition of appropriate here.....

Cause this gonna end like the others did....

First lots of

and eventually

Rough Country has lots of fan boiz and lots of haters... Just how it is.

You already have people saying they have low quality parts..

Now the fan boiz will run in and scream about how the parts have decended from upon the heavens at prices even bag ladies can afford. Then they will shout a bunch of higher end lift companies names and claim they are that good, but you dont pay for the name....

From what I've heard, and I just started asking the same questions you did, that it all depends on what you want to use the lift for and how you drive. I'm going with a 4.5" RC as soon as I get my second job, being 17 sucks.

And according to someone else on the forums, most lifts will have the same quality but, you get what you pay for. I could be wrong.

X2 I have a 3". I know its not a big huge lift but I have not had one problem with them. I went with them for the price and I have heard of allot of people running them that have really liked them.

I bought the rough country 6.5 lift for my xj. They updated some of there kits with better quality parts recently.. I havent had any problems from mine..my only complaint is the the coils that come with the 6.5 kit are a little short..im definately in need of a spacer or longer coils for the front to get rid of the slight rake.
