Looking to build the following:
Tube doors
Roof rack w/ integrated light bar.
Anyone know where there are diagrams, or anyone have a diagram?
I planned on buying them, but Girlfriends Dad said he can weld it for me, so looking for any diagrams.
4-dr 4.0l 4x4 1998 Country.

I created this 3D mockup (not fully measured correctly I think, but the general idea is sound; just apply the proportions of the size rack you want to the mockup) in google sketchup (awesome 3d drafting program for free). Looks a lot better than paint, and you can scale it to whatever application you have. One side is different than the other because I wanted to try two different patterns to see how they look. I like them both so still can't decide! LOL. Hope it helps!
I have started a different design, with the front, middle, and back short horizontal supports going under the long side ones for mounting to gutter clips or the standard ones easier. It'll also be made to wrap around the edges of the roof slightly to serve as a rock/tree guard for the sides to help protect the gutter mounts; it'll also have lockable clams on the vertical supports to hold shovel, axe, hi-lift jack, etc. recovery gear. Also missing is the spare tire mount plate on the rear third of the rack. Once I get it sketched up in 3D, I'll post it.
