Default Roof Rack Mounting Brackets

I need to know what your opinions on roof rack mounts are. Which will be better and stronger, mounting to stock luggage rack with new Kargo Master mounts or getting the rain gutter mounts by Kargo Master from 4 Wheel Drive Hardware?

The gutter mounted racks will definitely be stronger but not necessary for simple luggage storage for road trips.

Will you ever use it for offroad use? I.E. JErry can, Chainsaw, shovel(s), etc...the a more durable/stronger one would be warranted...I have the Olympic roof rack that has a beefy bar setup attached to the gutter system pictured below:

I don't use the rack itself as it is mounted on my Yukon but those bars have saved my gutters and windows a million times! :P

Get the gutter mounted ones then...the weight will be distributed better that way and not on the flimsy aluminum stock crossmembers
