Roof Light Wireing
I know one person ran his wires to a 4 pin trailer connector. Male end ran to the lights and female to the switches. This way if he ever had to take the rack off all hd had to do was disconnect the 4 pin connector on the roof. Then plug ot back in when he put it back up there. Just an idea.

Honestly if your going to run all that wiring why not run it through the back hatch and have a quick disconnect (for rack removal) instead of drilling a hole in the roof. I can hide the wires inside the factory luggage rails, it's only a few more feet of wiring up there.
As for the 32's, do they rub at all? I want to do a 4.5 lift with 32's, so just a little higher than what you have.

ya lol i took them back off, removed the bumper and put them up top at the factory drill holes. dont have pictures but will in the a.m. idk y i put them on bottom. first thing i thought was wat about snow, thell pretty much get knocked off
I’m planning to install 4 pairs of off-road lights on my roof rack (2 forward, 2 rear, 2 left, 2 right) and switch each pair separately with 4 switches I plan to install in the overhead console. I also plan to feed those 4 switches from a keyed safety switch to prevent accidentally turning the lights on. I’m no electrician, but I have a fair grasp of the concepts involved (I think) and have drawn up a wiring diagram of what I think it will take to get it done. I would have inserted/attached it here but I couldn’t figure out how (forgot to mention I’m a complete noob to threads).
What I’m hoping is that there is someone out there who knows automotive electrical and would be willing to take a look at my diagram and let me know if it will work, safely, and as intended. If you can help, please let me know and I’ll email you the diagram.
In the meantime I’m also looking for answers to the following related questions:
What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get "always on" power to new switches (power even when ignition is off)?
What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get "accessory" power new switches (power only when ignition is on)?
What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get power to new switches only when headlights and/or parking lights are on?
Is it possible to add 4 relays & 4 fuses inside the factory Power Distribution Center under the hood (will have to put these in somewhere under the hood for the lights, and hoping I can put them in the PDC to keep things neat and dry)? If it is possible; how would it be done?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Well I'm not a very electrical guy, but I'm sure somebody can chime in at some point. I'll just keep this going with a little bump.
