Rocker panels - what years are interchangeable?
One of our members is parting out a 94 that has a good body, except for where the tree landed on it. Ouch.
Would these fit my 97? If so, what's a fair price? (Shipping aside - we're close enough to meet & greet.)
Is there a guide somewhere to body parts interchangeability? I know that some parts will not interchange across all years (rear hatch, front fenders, for example), but what about the more basic components like the floor pans, rocker panels, and windshield brow?

I think I just found my answer, and at $30 per side, I'd be crazy to buy used.
Anybody used these? Are they decent quality?

Not sure what your intended use or plans are with your XJ. But this is another option when it comes to replacing your rockers. Plus you get an integrated rock slider.

I will say replacing rockers with sheet metal is a ton of work, especially to make them look nice, a lot of spot welds.

Thanks, but I"m looking for stock.
That looks pretty good, though. Not a bad option....
