Default Rocker panels and other body parts - what will swap 94 to 97?

I'm going to part out my '94, and I'm cannibalizing a couple of sections of frame rail to replace rusted parts in my '97.

I know the body changed slightly somewhere in between those years, but I'm wondering if some parts are still compatible. I have a bit of rust in the driver's side rocker panel, and a spot of rust under the rear driver's side window.

Are these pieces that could be cut out and used in my '97?

I'm pretty sure they'll fit, in fact I'd bet on the rocker panels swapping over. So you decided to repair the rusted frame rail?

Yes, I'm going to go for it. Figure I'll get the donor taken apart and the sections cut out and prepped, then take a Friday off and knock it out.

I'll scavenge all I need from the donor Jeep at the same time, but I'm just going to repair the bad rail because I am pressed for time.

Makes sense. Probably one of those deals where the damage is confined to one area while the rest of the frame is good and solid. Cut, weld, good to go. I've had that happen with other (non-Jeep) vehicles, particularly with boxed frames.
