yeah im sure rc is cheaper, but the x factor one with disconnects is bout or a lil more than the 4.5 RK. anyone that has had it that i have read bout say its top notch, while on jeep reviews and jeep forum. com, good percentage of people do not recommend RC, guess depends on how your going to use the jeep then.

That's really not a bad price for a nice kit like that. I have always heard from folks running RK stuff that it was very good. They were on Wranglers though, no experience with the XJ kit. It's considerably cheaper than the RE 4.5 kit, and the RK is of comparable quality to RE IMHO. And if you already got the shocks, may as well get a higher dollar lift...

Well I own a RC lift too actually. And alot of people really swear by their RC stuff, including myself, I love my RC lift! So I can't blame them for really pushing RC's kits, lol. But if I were in your position I would probably looking at stuff like RE, RK, or some other kind of "middle priced" lift kit, that or an RC 6.5" setup...

For all you ppl pimping the RC stuff.. he was asking about RK stuff. Sure RC stuf is cheaper and does the job.
RK's Lower arms on the X factor kit are solid stock, drilled and tapped for the Hiem joint. The upper joint for the front axle is a johnny joint style joint. The hardware they use is all 5/8th or bigger.
AS for kits coming with shocks and brake lines. Its nice to get them in the kit, but until you install the kit with the tires and equipment you have on your rig.. they might not be the best choice for your rig. To me it more improtant what the spring rates are for the front coils and how the rear lift is achieved.
