Default Road noise question

I have a 96 xj 4x4 all stock with 150K miles on it and stock size tires with non aggressive tread. Ive noticed that it is making a "humming" sound for lack of better term only at 30 - 35 mph. I know I have one front u joint on the drivers side that needs replaced, I think. That is making a clicking and squeaking sound when I turn. Could the humming sound be related to this or could it be tires or transfer case or something else? It just seems odd to me that is only at 30-35 mph. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Could possibly be a rear axle/pinion bearing going. Does it sound like woowoowoo? ...Tj

Tj, sorry if this sounds dumb but I am by no means a mechanic. Are you talkin about the rear of the front axle or the rear axle itself. I maybe should have said earlier that it seems to be coming from the front not the rear. I maybe should have also described it as a "howl" because to me is sounds like an off road tire howl but it goes away after I hit 35 mph.

i've had that noise from allignment before, but that doesn't explain why it goes away after 35. If its comming from the front end and is constant I would say tires / alignment, if its comes everytime the tire goes around then it could be wheel bearings / tires out of balance, if its comes 3-4 times everytime the tire goes around it could be something differential / driveshaft related.

The u-joint wouldn't make a howl, just a clicking noise like you though
