what size back spacing would you guys recommend for a 6.5" lift I'm going to be running 33x12.50r15 size tires thanks

on an 8in rim 4 3/4 or 5in backspace stock wrangler 8s are my choice

You will need to move the tires away from the control arms, so I think an eight inch rim with 3.5"- 3.75" back spacing would work just fine. I go with the 8 inch rim over the 10, because I wheel my rigs, and air down as low as 6 pounds for snow and the narrower rim holds the beads better.
