I am having problems with my right front brake caliper locking up. I replaced the brake hose and the brake caliper. When I am going on the brakes the front right will grab and pull my jeep to the right. When I go on the brakes hard enough it will completely lock the tire up and skid. Sometimes at a stop sign it won't release either until I start moving. This problem was a constant problem until I replaced the brake hose and now it comes and goes. I drive a jeep cherokee country 96. Cheers!

 

i had the same problem with mine. i replaced both my calipers and replaced my master cylinder and brake booster. no more problems. the problem didnt go away till the calipers were replaced last tho.

 

We thought it was a collapsed brake hose and at first it fixed the problem.. now it came back. The problem seems to occur more frequently when it's humid outside.

 

did you replace you pads and rotors? i did because when my caliper was locking up it burned the pads and tore them apart and warpped the rotors.
