Default rhd evaporator part

Can't find an oem evaporator core for rhd will a lhd evaporator fit or can it be modified to fit
Thanks for any help

I looked all over for one myself. What I did on the heater core, I took my old heater core in to a radiator repair shop, and brought a new left-hand drive heater core, and they switched the piping to make the new heater core work. And the evaporator core, we are going to install one this week from a left hand drive. We believe we can bend some pipes to make it work.

I'm pretty sure when I did the heater core on my '98 RHD that the evaporator was also RHD.

What year is your XJ - I can see if I can find you a part number to make the search easier!

how did you get on? I’m just about to attempt fitting a LHD evaporator in my RHD XJ

The evaporator core you just have to bend the lines correctly there’s enough room to play with but make sure you have a good pipe bender, But it will work
