Mine's on the driver side, right in the middle of the side. Can't miss it.
Had the same problem not too long ago. I pulled the old switch out and plugged it in, pushed in the ball, and my lights fired up. Got the new one, and the sensitivity of the switch was dramatic compared to the old one. I think there's a spring in there, which wears out.

k so that plug is there that you sent me the link to but where does it run?

 

is got a short wire with a plug on the end of it and i cant figure out where it goes

 

n.m i found it i was tucked way up in my engine compartment next to the fuse block
