First off its a 88 comanche 4.0 5speed BA 5-10 trans 2wd. I can not get the reverse lights to work. The bulbs are brand new and so is the trans fuse. I'm getting power to the connector going to the trans on the left side of the motor. And can get reverse lights to work jumping the pins. Please help! I drive a lot at night and already backed into the same pole twice.

 

Neutral safety switch?

If youre getting power to the bulb connectors I dont get why they wouldnt be working...

 

Check the reverse light switch in the transmission for continuity.

 

It has no neutral safety. Would finding the switch be easy?

 

It's stuck into the side of the transmission, probably 2 wires.

 

side of tranny cant miss it either the ***** stuck or switch went bad.

 

I'm going to check today. If the switch is bad could it be refreshed?
