Reuse pushrods?

Default Reuse pushrods?

Am changing my rocker arms, guides, and lifters when I do my had swap can I re use the push rods to save a little bit of money?

As long as they are in good condition, sure. Roll 'em on a flat surface to make sure there are no bends, check the ends for excessive wear, clear out the oil passages.

What Radi said Also, the rods are recommended to be used in the same position they were originally in.. I don't know how important it is, as when I measured mine, they were exactly the same length (coulda been off a thousandth or so) but I still did it as in the manual.

When I have seen engines being rebuilt, they always just tossed all of 'em in the parts washer with no regard to order.

They did roll them on a known flat surface to check for bent ones. The ones that were bent, they replaced with new. Note: not all of them, just the bad ones.

stick a wire through the hole and clean out any gunk left in there

They aren't that costly. If you can you might just replace them. I'd hate to see something happen. Your call.

I'd definitely roll and measure them at the least.
