Default Retrofit bosch fuel pump onto airtex sender unit?

Has anyone done this? The Bosch fuel pump assembly including sender unit is no longer available.

I could not tell you for sure if this will work. Most likely it will require some fabrication of inlet/outlet adapters and probably mounting.

People do seem to have good things to say about Carter and Rockauto.com has Carter fuel pump assemblies.

Assuming this is for your '93

For anyone interested in the future, the Carter fuel pump will fit onto an Airtex fuel sender assembly with zero modifications. Just unbolt and swap over electrical connectors.

The Carter is a much quieter pump, can hardly hear it prime compared to the loud "buzz" of the Airtex.

Hopefully this helps anyone with a similar question.

I fear his homebrew pump assembly left him stranded in the desert where he was eaten by interdimensional samsquanches.

I hope I'm wrong.

I doubt it...

A Samsquanch is the name given to an abnormally large male transgender prostitute only found in Corona Queens New York. This is the Unicorn of the transgender prostitute world.

Not too many deserts in New York are there?

Although, now that I think of it.. I pondered over it, and I think if they are truly interdimensional in nature? It sounds like they could be in New York and in a desert at the same time..

I am now in agreeance with the above. This is probably what may have happened to the poor guy? I too hope not? But, the signs... It is becoming more obvious to see.

Probably nothing left but a naugahyde steering wheel cover and a couple 10mm sockets.

Go up to the top of the thread, and find the "Thread Tools" Thingamabob. (Also called a Thingamajig in some regions.) Click on that puppy and explore! Also, in your profile settings, you can set it to automatically subscribe you to threads in which you post. Or not.
