Tractor trailer retreads are completely different than passenger tire retreads....why does nobody understand that?

Thinkin I might just go to a local tire merchant with my brother (he gets the BEST deals on things since it seems everyone in the area knows him) and one day if I'm feeling especially brave I might buy a set just to see how it goes. And after THAT will be my deciding factor. This subject is pretty much divided in half here...
