ok got my 90 couple wweks ago and im going through fixn stuff and my fuel guage wasnt workn so i went to replace the sending unit. pulled it out and hooked it back up outside the vehicle and it worked as i actuated it. figured **** why not put a new one and new pump in since i got it out. so got the new one and put it in, it works BUT it only reads 1/4 tank when full, it reads like 1/2 when im going down a steep hill. but never more! is there a procss for resetting the pump or guage or am i supposed to hook it up a certain way? i doubt i bent anything, however installing it was pain cause there seems like there is a weird bump in tank or somthing, when installing it wouldnt quite drop into the 2 slots like it should but i got it to lock in. the "bump" wouldnt quite let it drop in straight though
