i am fairly new to xj's, never owned one(yet) but have family who does. my father in law just purchased a stock 2000 xj and he wants 33s. he wants to run an old man emu heavy duty lift, acos spacers in the front, shackel and shim in the rear, and also bushwacker cut out flares. the question is would this fit 33's? thanks.

Yes. You can fit 33s with as little as a 2-3" lift so long as you're not afraid to hack a little metal off of your fenders...and I'm guessing you're not if you're already planning on buying a set of those monster Bushwacker fender flares. You've already mentioned ACOS for the front. That will be good as you will need extended bumpstops. You will also need to come up with something to extend your rear bumpstops, too.

I have a 4.5" lift and Bushwackers and fit 33's just fine.
I have some ACOS on the way, but they are just to make sure I can get back to where I am now after the bumper, winch, lights, and rails go on.
Edit: Here's a quick pic for you.
