i got my new IAC for the jeep, when i install it do i need to do something else, like anything to the computer? if so what do i need to do?

You may want to umplug your bat terminals wait a bit, touvh them to gether for 20 or 30 seconds then reconnect. It should reset the computer.
drive normally for a while then. It takes 25 or 50 key on off cycles to get set right.
You have OBDII so You should be able to turn your key on off on off on, and your mil gauge will start flashing numbers. These codes can be looked up and will tell you if anything is malfunctioning.
Basically if you get no codes besides "bat disconnected" and "end of codes" you will pass the DEQ. They don't check emissions on newer rides they just scan to make sure all teh EC components are working properly.
