I am about to tear into my 2000 jeep Cherokee 4.0l 4x4 and replace the original and very noisy front axle u joints .. My question is will I need to replace any other parts along with the u joints or will I be able to just do u joints ? Or is there other things I should replace while I have it apart ?

How old are the unit bearings? You're gonna pull them out anyway, might as well replace them if they're the originals.
