If I want to replace the plastic bumper trim and side trim what are my options? I have taken a heat gun to them and it really hasn't helped as far as appearance. Where can I find these cosmetic parts and will I have to have the dealer or body shop install them?

I just replaced the front bumper & the end caps on my 89 cherokee. I got the parts new of e-bay with free shipping & they were on my steps in about 3 days. I took the old stuff off myself. It was more trouble getting off than putting new on.

So yes it can be done. I'm not a mechanic/body man.

I think the seller on e-bay was "autopartswarehouse" if I remember correctly.

There are also articles available on the web of how to do this stuff.......like ehow.com
