Replacement jack
So since no junkyards around me carry the jack that typically came with my jeep, Does anyone know where i can get a stock type jack? I dont want a floor jack i want the bottle type that can fit under the seat. It doesnt have to be 100% but i just want to have some peace of mind if i get a flat.

I might have one. It'll cost you a bazillion bucks, but you'll get my good wishes with it.
PM me and we can discuss it.

Just grab one of the 8 ton bottle jacks from Harbor Freight, 99% sure it is thin enough to fit under the rear bench. If not, the 4 ton bottle jack they will definitely will fit. The handle is 2 piece so they are pretty compact

Personally, I would rather have a scissors jack. Those work much better in real world situations, especially off road

I just grabbed an extra scissor jack and wrench out of a mid 90's XJ from my local pick n pull that's pretty clean. I'd part with it for cost and shipping across the states. It was under $20 I think... I'll find the receipt and I can upload photos if you're interested.

19mm wrench attaches to the side
Ya I saw the mention of bottle jacks and remembered that's what I had. I got my jeep with 220,000 miles on it out of northern california and the sunroof apparently leaked like a sieve so the first time I used the jack was a struggle to break through the rust build-up. My xj is a stock laredo edition and I've swapped tires without issues. Someone else might have a preference of jacks and reasons to back them, but it seems like it'll come down to what tasks you ask of it, or whether you want what came stock in your jeeps year.
I saw this as a replacement, forgetting what I had but remembering its condition, just because I ran into it and it was cheap. I had to do a bit of a info hunt to figure out if was even a stock jeep jack after the mentioning of bottles but read they started being used in the mid 90's. I'm not sure of the validity of that, but I did just get a set of clean zj seats with the rear still to install so I'm going to wait until I can see what kinda space I've to work with before replacing the jack. There are a ton of jeeps at our local junkyards so not worried about running into another. I paid $10 for it used, and its fairly clean and in good working order. It is missing the extender part that attaches to the end of the wrench handle.

The reason I like to carry a bottle jack and a 4way is so I can help any unfortunates who have a flat. Fits all cars easily unless they are low riding sport cars... then they have to wait for AAA.
