Default replaced wiper pump now i get whining/moaning when lights are on

yesterday i replaced my front windshield wiper pump in my 97XJ. last night i went out, started her up, the pump works great and then i turn my lights on and get a loud moaning / whining sound. turn the lights off and it goes away, turn them back on and the noise returns. it sounds like its coming from where the pump is but why would the two be connected in any way? any advice or insight would be much appreciated. thanks

May be a ground issue.

G106, on the left inner fender, is the ground for the washer pumps and front lamps.
