Default replaced water pump still making noise

i just put in my new bosch water pump and i know it was all placed in perfectly and snug with all the right nuts and bolts. i also have the correct antifreeze to water mix. its still making that noise that sounds like birds chirping but its not leaking like it was. maybe the belts too tight ???

I had a similar noise on mine,I loosen the top right bolt that holds the PS unit by quite a bit and the noise went away.

it could be the timing chain. sounds crazy but i replaced my waterpump because it sounded like a waterpump going out....the noise was still there so i did some research and that led to the timing chain. replaced that and noise went away.

i knew my water pump was bad because it had wayyy to much play and i watched water dump out of it at the same rate that i was putting it into the radiatior. but i was driving it around and it seems the noise just went away on its own i think maybe it just needed to get broken in

Replace your idler pulley.
They are rather inexpensive.
Install a new belt.

Most times these are the two culprits a "chirping"
