Default Replaced t case chain; now speedo aint workin

Just got the t case put back together, took her out for a spin and no speedo. I put the gear back in and plugged the harness into it, so what gives? Whatcha guys think? I dont have to reset the ecm do I ????

My rig is a 93 xj 4.0 auto 4wd , thanks guys

the gear is offset on the shaft. Loosen the retaining clip bolt and rotate the sensor. My guess is if you had the sensor out of the case it didn't get clocked right when put back in. This just happened to me when I put my SYE on

i think its skid, not kid. sgtskid looks like it should be sergeant skid. i might be wrong though

Thats what i thought too? Well no disrepect kid or skid, just many thanks for the free fix i dont get many of those these days. Now if only someone could fix my mysterious and hard to locate knock so easily......................

Superj had it correct. It is Sgt. Skid...not Sgts kid which I do get a lot..along with Sgt. Skidmark. Not so creative after the millionth time hearing it. It is an old nickname I got way back in high school from doing a burnout on a lady's cobble stone drive way.
