Default Replaced Heater Core. Now Problems

98 xj 4.0

I replaced the heater core this past weekend and when I buttoned everything back up I now have issues. The fan blows and runs just fine, however when I close the car door and turn the AC on it does not blow, there is a Dumb and Dumber most annoying sound in the world coming from the passenger side. Short of taking it to a professional to find this issue, is there something I can do?

Thank you

Mandalore

Does the fan blow with the heater on and the door closed? Just not the AC?

Yes. Fan blows only with the jeep door open. I spoke with a family friend who is our go to guy for vehicles, he suspects a ground wire has not been bolted down...
