Default Repair manual ..

I wonder if anyone has used the 'Alldatadiy' online repair manual and if so; what do they think? http://www.alldatadiy.com/index.html

I don't know how much it is but I have never found anything remotely close to being as good as the factory service manual. I found my FSM from https://techauthority.gltghosting.co...atalogId=10051

very good price for FSM

Default OK, Fmly ...

That's exactly what this is but it includes recalls, TSBs and some other value added services that I've not seen even in a factory manual. Runs 26 bucks a year ... couldn't tell from your link but how much is a factory manual?

Never used that one... I know every mechanic shop I've seen uses the regular AllData, the mechanic's cheat sheet... See if they have maybe a trial thingy for it, I know I seen a bunch of stuff where AllData says one way of doing it, when it could be done very simply with half the steps (the 4.0L water pump is a perfect example)...

The 'diy' edition appears to be the same as the 'pro' version, information-wise anyhow.

I'll have to check on that WP R&R too, as I've done that operation on mine last winter ... however ... that is the way you make money twistin' bolts. Flat ratin', yeah baby !!

There was a guy in the MBZ dealer where I worked once who could change certain subframe mounts in half an hour, the flat rate time was 8 or 10 hours, IIRC. He wouldn't let anyone else watch him do it either and NO ONE else knew that trick.
