renix 2wd ecu

I have an 89 4wd and I found a 90 2wd ecu for it. I believe its still renix but, will the 2wd work ok?

Also, Is there a way to tell if it is Renix. Just incase the guy is wrong?

the Renix computers don't know what the drivetrain is. it should work just fine. whats wrong with your ecu?

Mine in the jeep I drive is ok. But, I am rebuiding one that cought fire under the hood. So, I need to replace it.
