removing window trim on 89
Are the clips made of metal or plastic? I can see under the trim and they look like plastic. I have a tool to remove but I'm afraid I will bust them. Where can I get replacements if I do? Autozone didn't have.
Thanks!

Mopar parts dealer? Here's a site you might like or need. (http://www.xjjeeps.com/tech_referenc...section=2&ID=0) You'll find they have the OEM Mopar-Jeep parts catalog in your year. In PDF format, So you down load it for future references. (Might have a exploded view of your trim also)

Removed the window trim. Some of the clips are metal and some are plastic and some will need to be replaced.
I do not see any rust but the black sealant along the top is iffy. It only leaks along the top so I am thinking of removing the top caulking only and replacing with new. I will leave windshield and side sealants in place.
Any one else done this or see any problems with doing it this way? Any recommendations on which sealant to use?
Thanks!
