removing my radiator and have run into a problem

almost done with removing the old one and BAM i cant get the last little hose off..go figure right? got some pics of it and i was hoping someone could tell me how to get it off?? i've tried pinching the yellow thing and just yanking on it in frustration.. even tried screwing it off...... help?

try using pliers to pinch it down and pull on at the same time>

Push the hose in and pinch the yellow tabs and while pinching pull the hose and it should come off.
Remember the hose has to be pushed in FIRST before pinching the tabs to unseat the springs inside.

well i finally got it with alot of force and frustration...lol. but when i went to start my jeep HECKA coolant spilled out along with what looks like tranny fluid?? its red like some of this stuff i put in my tranny when i changed the fluid a couple months ago....???????????? any idea? could that stuff already of been in the radiator?






the oil and coolant came from this

If all that came out of the filler neck I would say tranny fuild was leaking into rad coolant. R U sure all that came out of the filler neck. seems like alot of tranny fluid, also was there any tranny fluid in the the coolant when you first drained the coolant? Do A flush before putting in new rad.

OOOOPS i read the whole post so dont front.


i flushed it now theres nothing coming out. i "burped" my system now its running at normal engine temp

i thought my buddy tightened the fitting all the way but it wasnt... so i tightened it down now theres no leak


im not gonna lie.. i was purdy scared there for a while but now i see everything is fine.
