Default removing muffler from catalytic converter

Before I start hacking on this could someone tell me how this comes apart?

looks just like a 2 bolt flange, unbolt it and it should separate, unless it's been welded. either way a sawzall will do it!

take the 2 nuts off the studs and it should just pop apart, you shouldnt have to cut it

The bolts are rusted bad and will not come off, the sawzall will do it.

if you use the sawzall cut the studs then drill out what is left and use bolts. That is unless you plan on doing something completely different
