Removing a leaf from 4.5" pack to lower it

Removing a leaf from 4.5" pack to lower it
I have RC 4.5" leafs under my XJ at the moment, and will be installing shackle relocation brackets and 1.5-2" shackles. I don't want to gain much/any lift, so could I take a leaf out of the leaf pack to keep it at the same height?

If you don't want lift why add lift shackle and the brackets. Just do the brackets, mount the stock shackle into one of the forward set of holes, keeping angle between 30-45 degs. This will give the flex you want with out the lift. The way you are going about it you will have to educe the springs by 2-3" of lift. Might as well put your stocker back in.
