removing hub assembly a different way? bolts are rusted to hell

removing hub assembly a different way? bolts are rusted to hell
i have to remove my hub assembly to get my axle shaft out to change my u joint. i cant get the 3, 12point bolts out. they are stripped a little and rusted to hell as well. is there a different way i can go about it so i can change my u joints tonight?

Thats the only 2 ways to get at it. maybe a little heat on the bolts would help free them. Or cut the heads off with a sawzall or something similar that will fit might be tough a little tight in there and then you would need new bolts and the parts house probably are not open still.

That sucks i feel for you. Picked up the wifes wrongler a couple years ago and the PO welded all the nuts cuz he had DW and thought they were loose had to cut everything what a PITA.

i've had luck with using those easy out sockets. i've had to break out the mig welder to build the stripped head up so the easy out socket can grip something. also the heat from the welder might have helped break them free.
it started out to be a real PITA, but turned out quite easy.

have you tried tapping the bolts with a hammer?
something ive used, soak with wd, try and tighten a hair while smacking the crap out outta it. then back out and tap..... just a leaf from anothers book
