Remove rear hatch???

I want to remove my hatch to get to repair some bad rust in the crease behind it. How hard is this and is it recommended. I am assuming it isnt illegal because I am not going to drive with out it. I just need to know how to remove it and put it back on afterward.

Unbolt it and fix your issues. I dont see whats the issue with unbolting it.........

are you afraid of unbolting it?

yea why would it be against the law if you arn't going to drive it?

I ended up unbolting it. Yeah I was just confused on exactly how to do it but I did eventually find the bolts on the body and took it off. Now onto all the grinding and crap I have to do. Thanks.
