Remounting center console?
Alright seems like previous owner of my XJ tried to remove the center console and broke the screw points inside it. The two screws that mount at the bottom inside the console are broke and the whole console just wobbles around. How can I go about reattaching and securing this so that I can mount my CB behind it? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ABS cemet works great on this... Use some Acetone to clean the area well and then apply a few coats of the Oatey cemet... If ya have the broken of bits it even works better... Ya can build up the area with further coats to suit... I use small disposable brushes to apply it rather than the huge cotton ball than comes with the cemet... If the broken area is huge then ya can purchase sheet ABS and cut a patch to suit... Also ya can heat up the sheet ABS with a heat gun to form it to the desired shape and then cement it in place...

I have the same issue. Have not tried to fix it on this yet. On my truck I also had the same issue, and since i wasn't too concerned how it looked, I used metal pipe strap and screwed it to the plastic, then used existing screw holes to tighten it to the floor with existing bolts. Strong as a rock but not pretty. Oh, I was able to use this technique on the inside of parts of the console, near invisible repair on that side.
