Is their any way to tell if your Jeep has the sensor for a remote unlock?

When I bought my Jeep the guy had 2 keys and a remote for the unlock. He said I could take it to the dealership and have them program it.

I know on other vehicles their is a box with a visible code ( kinda like a garage door opener).

Any input would help.

First of all what year is your jeep

It's a 2000 sport.

No cruise control, but does have power windows\locks.

 

You will have to take it to the dealer ship I went with a viper alarm does lock s and alarm

 

Do you have the overhead console? If yes, you have keyless entry.

If not, pull your dome light (held on by a couple of screws). If there's a circuit board inside it, you've got keyless entry.
