Smile REM v5

Good afternoon, all.

I recently invested in Nick's REM II v5.3 to try and track down some weird intermittent issues (which I am pretty sure is related to a low voltage on the CPS, or possibly thermal failure being too close the the block).

What is the best way to route the ethernet cable into the cab? Is there an existing hole in the firewall somewhere to use, or did you all make a new one?

Just looking for suggestions.

Thanks for your time!

I made a hole, there is a grommet on the driver's side I put it through. I'll go take a picture in a moment.

Tip, don't mount it on the dash, the plastic will melt... ask me how I know.

LOL, I thought about the same - don't put it on the dash.

Pics very much appreciated!

not sure how well. You can see it, I fed the cord for the REM and my off road lights through it, to the right of the brake booster.

Ah yes! I see it well. I hadn't noticed that grommet. That's right above the backside of the fusebox it appears.

Thanks, aroundcircles! Got a weekend off and got some plans now!

Got it through there as well. Easier than I thought. Thanks for your tip!
