For added safety... you can always take the tires off your jeep, lay them on their sides, and slide them underneath the body/frame.

If it falls, although it might not be pretty and might break some things, at least it won't be you who's no longer pretty, and broken.

Mine just fit with the deep sockets that came with my electric impact.

I will have to remember this. I have never had a vehicle fall off jack stands and don't wish to find out what the end result is if it did. I always put it in 4wd, chock the tires, make sure my jack stand are in solid/stable spots (on the ground and on the vehicle), and use my jack as a back up for my jack stands when I can. Being that my drive way isn't flat(angled toward the road) I am usually pretty cautious when it comes to lifting vehicles. The tires would have been a good back up since I need my jack to hold the axle.
