Default Relocating Front door speakers

Has anybody found a good spot to mount the front door speakers somewhere in the front of their XJ's, i have a 99, and am going to be taking the doors off soon, and thats all i have inthere for speakers is just the front 2. I have looked down around byt the sides of the floor, but on the passenger side there is the fuse block panel. Anybody found anywhere good to put them, i have 2 6x9's to go into the back i will put them somewhere since i have boxes for them. And plan on getting a 4 channel amp to run everything. And pics would help as well thanks!!!!

I have a 96 so I'm not sure if it's the same for yours, but I put a set 5.25's in my kickpanels. If I ground off the little nubs on the metal skin behind the panel I could it a 6" or so in there. It also depends on speaker depth. You could always build up a ring so it seats properly and attach that to the panel. I'll try and post a pic.

I think quadratec makes some enclosures for the kick panels, but if I recall correctly they cost an arm and a leg......or your first born!

To bad you can't put another sound bar in the front that would be sweet i also wondered how to do that when i took off my doors on my 99 make sure you keep all the bushings for when you put it back together or your doors will sag i used 3/8s bolts had to drill the door hindges out to 3/8s and it works great good luck man pics also
