Default Reinstalling yoke on Dana 35

So Saturday I sheared the bolts on the yoke while out wheeling. I'm performing the mod of installing u bolts instead of straps. I have the yoke off and was wondering if there is a specific procedure for reinstalling the yoke. Also is there a specific torque spec for the pinion nut...?

this is pretty much the same technique.
might as well replace the seal while you have the yoke off.

Seems easy enough...however when I removed the yoke I was unaware of making marks on the pinion shaft and nut and counting threads so I'm starting from scratch...anything I need to know specifically? I've read over tightening or being too loose can wreck a rear end...I've also read something about a crush sleeve or washer...what's that all about...
